Making a difference with Gifts to Grow

When I'm talking to parents I'm always surprised that a number of them don't even know that this exists...

inside their Pampers diapers and wipes!

Inside each package of wipes and diapers (boxes too) there are Gifts To Grow Codes that you collect to earn points. Save up enough points and you could find yourself with a Rocking Elmo for your little one, gift cards to buy an outfit, or even make a donation to a charity.

I'm not going to lie, it takes a long time to collect points for anything of any value, and I would never buy these diapers just for the points, but since I have to buy them anyway, it's a nice perk!

Recently Proctor and Gamble were generous enough to provide me with 2,000 points that I could either use to get something we've been saving up for, or to donate them to one of the charitable organizations that Gifts To Grow supports.

I finally had enough to get Lil B a PlasmaCar, but instead I decided to use my points to support The Canadian Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (CFSID)

Having lost a child suddenly, I know all too well the devastation and heartbreak families that have lost children face. CFSID uses the funding to provide bereavement support and assistance to families that have lost babies to SIDS, SUDC, stillbirth and miscarriage. I know that when my son died I struggled to find a resource to help me cope. My donation, albeit small, I hope will help at least one family find comfort in knowing they aren't alone.

Next time you open a pack of diapers, take a moment to enter the code on the Gifts to Grow website whether it be to get your little one a treat or to make a difference in someone else's life.

  1. Also, endeavor to buy some flax seed mill and include it in your yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, or even pancake combine.
