Life Choices Foods Review & Giveaway

I was recently contacted by Life Choices Natural Foods to see if I was interested in reviewing their food products and offering a giveaway to my readers. 

Seeing that I have an infant at home and am a WAHM I am always looking for convenient, healthy options for dinnertime.  I try not to resort to processed, pre-packaged foods too often as we want to teach our children good eating habits right from the start. 

I couldn’t be happier that Life Choices contacted me as they offer a variety of quick, healthy and delicious tasting options for those crazy nights.

We decided to test out the Chicken Strips and the Cheddar Cheese and Potatoes Pierogies.

When I serve Chicken Strips I often serve them in salad or in a wrap with lettuce, tomatoes, cumbers and low fat cheese.  These strips cooked up great and were nice and crispy and non-greasy. It was great to know that coating was multigrain and provided us with added fibre and Omega-3.   After comparing the nutritional information between the strips I usually buy Life Choices has less fat and more Omega-3, 6, iron and fibre.Think this switch is a no-brainer!
I was a bit surprised at the size of the individual strips.  They were smaller than we are used to.  I think they would be perfect for little hands to hold though.  

The Pierogies were also fantastic.  They cook up in 8 minutes and are really, really tasty.  I must say DH was a bit skeptical after he saw that they were made with multigrain with flax, but he wolfed them down and said they were great. I couldn’t agree more!  I am sure I will be eating these often for lunch with a salad on the side.

I look forward to trying some of the other Life Choices products, specifically the pizzas and the Italian Meatballs.
